Global Seas LLC is a private management company who's parent company, Nina Fisheries, Inc., was formed in 1994 to oversee and manage its holdings in the seafood industry. Since that time we have grown and evolved into an internationally diverse entity with a portfolio of investments spanning the globe and representing a variety of industries which include the harvesting, processing and marketing of seafood, maritime equipment sales, real estate development, survey and charter vessels.
The Global Seas Management Team has extensive experience in the maritime industry going back to the late 1970's. Our main emphasis has always been in excellence, safety and professionalism. The R/V MT. MITCHELL is a 231' Oceanographic Research Vessel that is managed and operated by Global Seas LLC. The vessel is newly refurbished and is available for charter.

Currently our vessel, the F/V DONA MARTITA is fishing for Atlantic Herring and Mackerel out of the New Bedford, Massachusetts area. The herring and mackerel caught are delivered to the Norpel Plant.
Norpel (Northern Pelagic Group, LLC) processes the herring and mackerel and markets the end products internationally. Norpel's New Bedford, Massachusetts location was chosen for its close proximity to the fishing grounds, regular tramper service and cold storage facility.
